The primary purpose of Paws Up Rescue is
to rescue abandoned and/or abused companion animals. These animals may be found on the streets, parks, parking lots, in shelters, or even relinquished by their owners. All animals will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and healthy before they are placed for adoption into new homes. The cats are housed at Healthy Paws in a big cat room with lots of cat furniture and even an exercise wheel. Cats can be adopted anytime the store is open. Even if you can’t adopt one, come in and pet them, they love the attention. It takes lots of time and money to continue to do cat rescue. Donations are always welcomed. Due to poor economic times I am at capacity and not able to take in any more cats for awhile. So, if you are looking for a place to take a cat, go to petfinder.com and you will see lists of other rescue groups that may or may not have an opening. Rescueing since 2001. Starting with Pet Pro Life in Fountain Valley, CA. In 2004, Healthy Paws opened and the store own cat/kitten rescue group was started. To date the rescue group has placed over 400 cats/kittens into their new homes.
